If you've been lucky enough to witness the miracle of bringing a child into the world, or even taking part in helping to love nurture and rear a child, you know it is an indescribable experience punctuated with ominous responsibility, long hours, no holidays, no union breaks and not always a lot of thanks, but the rewards are immeasurable.
As difficult and all consuming the early years may be I promise you they will all be over before you know it. There is a time and season for everything and while they are growing it is the time to give your best attentions to helping them feel safe and confident and of infinite worth.
